Stanley Mosk and his wife Kaygey voting in 1958. Mosk served L.A. County as a Superior Court judge from 1943-59. He was elected state attorney general in 1958, and in 1964 Governor Pat Brown appointed him to the California Supreme Court, where he served until his death in 2001.
